Hey everyone, NeM here. It's been a long time since I visited samurize.com but I noticed that the new site, samurize.us, is gone. So I have decided to repair and open this site up again so that Samurize users can still discuss the program, upload screenshots & other files and so forth. If you notice any problems or errors on the website, please post them in the forums and I will fix them when I get a chance.

I installed the latest Samurize version on Windows 7 (you have to enable compatibility mode for Windows XP in order to install) and it still runs fine, but I am sure there are features that are either no longer working or are glitchy.

I do not have any word at this stage as to whether any further versions of Samurize will be released, but at a guess I would say no. We will keep you posted if this changes.

Thank you for supporting Samurize over the years and I hope you have enjoyed using it as much as we have enjoyed creating it

The PluginPak has been updated. It contains all the changes to my plugins/exes over the past two years (most of which were scattered around in the forum or downloads section).

Server update

We've done some maintenance on the server and fixed a few issues. Regular vistors may notice that the site runs a little faster now.

The crew apologizes for any inconveniences users may have had accessing the site over the past few days. We are experiencing some issues with the server that hosts our site. We are aware of the problem and the good folks at Stardock are working on assisting us.

Samurize 1.64.3 Final - UPDATE

Unfortunately there was a significant bug in the meter maths code so an update has been released to fix this issue

Samurize 1.64.3 Final has now been released with a number of changes from the beta. The largest change is the implementation of IMAP4 support.

Not all vista problems have been fixed for this release, more fixes will come along during the coming months as more people upgrade and report problems. Currently I do not have a fully functional Vista computer so fixing these defects will be slow. I apologises for this.

Just little update to this story, hope everyone had a great April Fools day

Dear Samurize users,

Regretfully the crew would like to share some sad news, due to lack of funds all future coding of Samurize will be turned over to Stardock, our current site host. With little interest these days and the release of Vista Gadgets, Samurize has fallen by the way side to more advanced, though less configurable "widget type" applications. Stardock has chosen to not host our site for free any further thus leaving us no option but to license the remaining source code to them. This decision comes on the heels of AdamC's announcement that he will no longer have time to work on this project, real life obligations have taken him away from Samurize. Adam told crew members "With the birth of my 7th child, my water ballet accident and my second part time job, I just don't have time anymore".

We will be posting more information over the next 2 weeks as to Stardocks intentions, inside sources tell us that Samurize should continue under the direction of Frogboy, one of WinCustomize's founders and lead programmers. We also believe that Shareware licenses will cost users $59.95 USD but we are pushing for less.

Samurize v1.64.3 Beta

A public beta has been released, Samurize v1.64.3 is now available to try. Some minor bug fixes and some changes/ improvements are included with this release. Also Windows Vista is now supported. Please have a look at the change log and go HERE to download.
