My school uses this home page, Lectio.dk, where you can see your timetable. Our timetables changes a lot so I use it every day. It would be neat if I could see my shedule on my desktop without having to open the internet. The exact link to where my shedule is is: http://www.lectio.dk/lectio/39/SkemaGenera...v&id=1368448281 (the link doesn't change) I only need the schedule but it would be very nice if I was able to get the "Vis skema for uge: Forrige Nęste" (a function that makes it possible to see the shedule for the next weeks or the last weeks) pinned to my desktop also, so I could change between the weeks. That would be just perfect. I thought of using PageScraper but I can't really figure it out since I'm only used to use PageScraper for pictures. So, help, help help! /Patricia |

I had a quick look into this. I recommend you to use MiniBrowser instead of PageScraper. With MiniBrowser you can show a whole webpage or part of it, in this case limit the MiniBrowser window so that it will show only the lecture table.
With PageScraper, it's almost possible to scrape all the information needed from that page but the empty table cells (those that doesn't contain any lectures) are causing issues since they change dynamically all over the table depending on the week and have completely different HTML style definitions (prefixes) than the actual cells that include a lecture. I find it impossible to get those spaces to correct positions in a config because of that. Give MiniBrowser a try. |

Thanks for the reply.
I have given MiniBrowser a try, but it fetches the whole side, so I have to scroll down to see the whole shedule. How do I prevent that? Also, isn't there a way to change the colors or design of the shedule, since it doesn't really fit with my white/black/pink-theme I'm currently using |

Here's a kinda hack solution for what you're after using PageScraper & MiniBrowser combination.
![]() PageScraper scrapes the entire table and saves it into a file (../plugins/PageScraper/lectio.html) and MiniBrowser reads that file back. You can configure the colors using PageScraper's replace options. Take a look to the PageScraper configuration of the attached example config to find out how to use it. I changed the color of the "modul column" to pink as an example. Hope that helps.

I see the logic, but I can't get it to work
![]() I can't see the attached config. All I see is a white box. The problem is (I think) that I don't know how to configure PageScraper. I can only get the white box or a lot of wierd text. |

Sorry, I forgot to mention you need to change the path to lectio.html temp file. Open the config in editor, select the meter I've created, go to Display tab , click Configure button and browse to lectio.html (Samurize root dir\plugins\PageScraper\lectio.html).
If it still doesn't work, make sure you have the latest plugin builds of PageScraper and MiniBrowser. |

No probs. ![]()
Sure, you just have to save the CSS stylesheet file of the site onto your harddrive, change the stylesheet path (from advanced options of PageScraper) to point to that local stylesheet file and then edit the stylesheet to fit into your needs. Smaller the font size, decrease the table size etc.

Is the CSS Styleshed File the one located at http://www.lectio.dk/lectio/lectio.css ?
I'm not really familiar with the CSS system. I can't really get it to work. Help! |

Yes, save it as lectio.css for example to C:\, then open the sample config I've sent to you in config editor, go to configure PageScraper, click "Advanced Options" and change the "http://www.lectio.dk/lectio/lectio.css" link to "C:\lectio.css" of the prefix box and save.
Next open the local lectio.css in a text editor like Notepad or Wordpad and start changing the colors as you like. Testing what affects to what is your friend here if you're not sure about what to change. |

For the record, all the plugins in the PluginPak automatically substitute the Samurize path (along with other common system paths). If you open the config in a text editor, you should see something like %SAMDIR%\plugins\PageScraper\lectio.html. So, there's no extra configuration required when moving a config to a different computer. |
