Yeah, basicly what the Topic says.
I'd appreciate a Function to trigger my Active Script for reading the CD Drive Data without a Timer but when I change the Disc (and the Explorer notices). -------------------- ![]() USER MIGRATED TO SAMURIZE.US |

There are quite alot of Shell triggers that I believe we can plugin into. I think the best place for this is probably the input area. So that you would be able to specify an input and be able to run. The down side is that we wouldnt be able to update text from here...... so maybe its not the best place after all.

I've used WM_DEVICECHANGE in a program before, to quickly copy CDs to the HD (changing discs as fast as possible). And a plugin could do it too. But I think this is probably something beyond what Samurize should handle.

Then, the Drive Information should be more Configurable.
I'm using a modded Version of ExtendedDrive.vbs to display my Drives instead of the build in one, simply because it's easier and looks better than having multiple Meters for each Drive. Also, I can only have the Script display an "unloaded" CD-ROM Drive without causing Errors (read: Pop-Ups) or Freak-Text (like "Error: Drive not Ready"). And I have extended it that far, that it automaticly scales and recalculates Sizes for all Drives it's assigned to. I've used the WM_DEVICECHANGE before as well. It might be a logical progression for samurize. We didnt have inputs but we do now and maybe we should now how shell stuff (shell is the new input ;-)).....
