One common problem I have is that I want say a pagescraper meter to update every 15 minutes but cycle once every minute, fine, I set the meter to update every minute and pagescraper to update every 15 minutes BUT!! the problem here is that I will only see "loading..." for the first full minute since the meter isn't refreshed more often than that. Some meters, like pagescraper should have an "added second refresh after the first", so that I don't have to look at "Loading..." for one minute just because I don't want it to cycle more oftan than that. I'd name the option something like:

[ ] Run an additional first refresh after __ ms after config load/reload.

Or is there any other way of doing this? I can't see how!

Kristian

Even with a second refresh this might not fix the problem because Pagescrapper might still be downloading the page and samurize performs the refresh and so you will still see the "loading..." displayed.

What I could add is a refresh Samurize Message that Uziq could use to force a refresh. But that would mean an update in Pagescrapper as well as Sammy.

Pagescraper probably takes a moment to load a page depending on the actual pages speed, also, some pages with more info may take a bit of time to download and the users conection speed may play into it as well.

What type of internet connection do you have? My pages seem to load in a split second and this is never an issue. To remove the word "Loading...." you could add an alert to remove this text until the data is downloaded if I am understanding you correctly
