Okay for some reason my hypersnap app doesn't pic up the fact that my Samurize is running when I take a screen shot of my desk top. Any ideas what else I could use ??

The reason I ask is because I want to upload my config to the downloads section but want a screen shot for it and cant seem to be able to take one with what I have.

Any help is appriciated.

Just using Print Screen should work. Some Apps dont seem to like layered windows which is what samurize runs as and just ignores them. No Idea why.

All my screenshots are taken with HyperSnapDX smil3dbd4d6422f04.gif Works fine for me if I use Capture Full Screen Ctrl + Shift + F, but all my configs are set to Normal Window Behaviour.

Try that and if all else fails, there's always PrintScreen as everyone has suggested above smil3dbd4e398ff7b.gif

The Print-Scan button does mean actually print the screen it means take a screenshot really. Reusing old buttons I suppose.

and you can use Alt+PrintScreen to take a pic of just your config (as long as the config is selected).

Euhm, can you record a movie of the config?

I tried with Windows Media Encoder, but it doesn't like layered windows (even when I set my display accelleration to minimal)...

With "CamStudio" it does work.

Great, thanks!
It sure beats my alternative: use the tv-out of my video card, direct this to my analog-digital video converter, and capture the image via firewire... smiles-blink.gif smil3dbd4d4e4c4f2.gif

After a whole lot of hassles trying to find a ( free ) screen shot app that would even acknowledge samurize existed I ended up opening the config editor, adding a desktop screenshot to the editor then using a c**p screen shot app to take 4 snaps of the editor ( one for each corner ) then pasting them all together ...... it's a long winded process but it works !!
