guess I shouldn't have gone by the screenshot and rated it before unzipping it... dude, the playboycalendar sub-directory (as noted in the .ini file) is not created (hence no pics, the whole purpose...)

the SAM only has the .ini, .dll & a copy of the textfx.dll... that's it from what I can tell, irregardless, all the config editor opens is a blank copy of the calendar. Am I missing something? TIA.

I could not upload the pictures on Samurize cause it was too big, this is why i said

I had to reduce the size of the pictures down to 110x320 so that the file would not be too big (it is already about 4Mb...)

You can find the 366 (one for each day) resized pictures Here (Do right click on the link and Save target as)

That site is french, I'm not... but irregardless, I didn't notice that the "HERE" word was bold; thanks for clearing that up for me.

Just tried the "HERE" site, that is french too, then it redirects me ater a few seconds to another site saying that it is under development.

Oh well, would've been nice. I figured the email address I gave you in the PM of the first day would've aleviated all this but I'm already used to it around here lol. G/L.

As for sending all of it by email, the thing is that i dont have any address from which i can send a 4Mb file... and i am too lazy to cut it into smaller ones and send it by pieces

More to the point, without a README file, it is not readily apparent as to how the picture gets changed. If using an alert, how is it set?

Well, what i think you got to do is just unrar the PicturesAndFrame.rar inside a folder named PlayboyCalendar in your Samurize folder

The way it gets the pictures is using the %v of the date plugins included in Samurize

I gotta go download a .rar decompressor, do you know of any free ones? It would be better IMO if it were in a zip format since that is what most people are used to...

I'm back, just downloaded FilZip freeware and it decompressed them np (for those interested). So now I have your pics and your version of the calendar .dll (which, as I posted earlier, opened up blank for me) but I still don't see how the calendar would link to the pics anyway (even if I used an original version of the calendar (which got completely corrupted along with my weather.2004 config a few weeks after downloading them so I never used them again (maybe that's my problem with the calendar?)))

If you could tell me how the pics change monthly (as your screenshot shows), I'll attempt to change mine to change daily.

Don't be suprised if I'm back though, I may ask you about daily changes vs monthly (if I can't figure it out myself)

At least now you know that you need to use that FTP site vs the original one you had planned (unless something changes). Thanks again for all your patience and help.

I just use winrar, but i dont think it is free.

to get the pictures, i have been adding a Date/Time meter, then i put the Draw type as Image, then the Source format as m-d and the Display path is for me C:\Program Files\Samurize\PlayboyCalendar\Playmates\%v.jpg

Basically i named the pictures month-day.jpg

As for a monthly picture, i guess you would have to rename 12 pics from 1.jpg to 12.jpg and change the Source format to m instead of m-d

YOUR CALENDAR VERSION OPENS UP WITH NOTHING BUT BLANK BOXES as opposed to the original calendar plugin that at least comes ready to go "out the box".

Well i dont know about that, i just uninstalled Samurize, saved all my files some place else and imported the sam file and it works fine, i have no idea what is going wrong...

The only thing i can do is to upload the preset file for the VisualCalendarPlugin, i put it at the same place than the other files (it is PlayboyCalendar.vpc)

I am sorry man, i did not understand it was not working at all earlier... and i don't really know what else to do to help you

Well actually, I'm glad to hear that it is working for you, I prolly just need to download the calendar config again to write over my (corrupted I believe) files. Just goes to show that I was right about my weather and calendar files getting completely corrupted several weeks back. I haven't used either one since so I'll jump on it in the morning. I'll let you know but since I was able to download your pics, I'd say you are in good shape now, I know those girls are! Congrats.
