Description:

This plugin can retrieve CPU/GPU/DIMM thermal info and fanspeed info for many Dell Inspiron/Latitude/Precision series laptops.

You must install the included driver for it to function (see readme for details).

This plugin is based off of Christian Diefer's i8KFanGUI project.

You can get harddrive temps with Psy4's SMART HDD plugin.

You can get realtime cpu speed with PBalinov's CPU Speed plugin.

I have included a list of all compatible Dell laptops in the release.

I know my Inspiron 5100 runs hot...
But I think 45115°C is a tad exaggerated!
(I guess it needs a decimal point)

sorry, it looks like cpu temp is unavailable on 5100's (if you look at the detailed compatibility list on the i8k's project page

Wow! I always thought it was impossible to read temps and fan speeds from Latitudes - but this works great! Thank you so much! A very welcome addition to my config.

Hrrmm.. Clicking the Screenshot shows a 700m, yet it is not in the compatibility list. I tried it, and the Fan 1 RPM and state work, but the temp seems off the charts... I would LOVE an update for the 700m! =)

Great plugin, but there seems to be a bug getting the GPU temp on an XPS2. I posted a message in the forum about it yesterday, so I'm sure I'll hear something soon!

No support for 9400/E1705..the fanio.sys file for the new i8kfangui has support for 9400 but sadly does not work with the current i8k.dll

...any chance of an update..
