You should be able to enable meter linkage for that directory. You would probably have to link to a delete command in dos. I could possibly create a vbs script that would do this.

That would be great if that was posible.. Right now I've got it working with a dos batch file to empty the bin, But I hate the way it pops open a dos window as it's being executed... Again great job with this so far..

<quote> It doesn't show there are more files in the trash.</quote>

thre recycle bin of windows is merely a virtua directory, which links all the bin dirs together through some registry entrys.
i wouldnt know how to solve that tho...
maybe its possible to retrieve the info from the reg or something like that...

As far as I can tell it shows correctly what is in the recycle bin. All the tests performed on it by myself and others verify this. If you know of a situation in which a discrepancy occurs, please let me know and I will see what I can do with altering the script.

The Recycle Bin doesn't work with Win2K. Maybe you're experiencing this bug: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q266366

I also found a strange problem with your latest version, it works fine when setting it up in the editor but if you reopen the editor and try to re configure it you get an "error running function" on all meters and "No options available for this plugin" appears when you try to configure it again.

It's probably because logging has been left on.

I'm having the same 2 issues mentioned.

1. If I test the plugin in the config editor before running the config in samurize, samurize won't allow me to run the plugin in the config. I'll have to reboot first. Or if I run the config first and then try to access/change the info in the config editor I get an error. I won't be able to change the plugin in the config without rebooting first.

2. The plugginlogger.txt file just keeps growing and growing. I had a 13 gig (that is GIG) file before I noticed this issue with this plugin. If I delete the plugin meter from the config and restart the config the file stops growing in size. (The file just seems to be listing every single file in the recycle bin. Which is the only thing I was measuring in my last config I tried using this plugin in.

I am new to samurize and have forund the directory stats plugin. I have three plugins using this one : 1)number of iles in recycle bin - Works OK. 2)Size of files in recycle bin - works OK. 3) image for full & empty - only shows text to path of images.

I have tried bmp, jpg & png images - none show up.

I have reloaded the config, restarted Samurize & also restarted the computer.

Can anybody please tell me what I am doing wrong???

Thank you for your time.

Does the full/empty image name get returned in a text format. If it does, you need to change the draw type of the meter to image (general tab when editing that meter).

Well well well --- Very good plugins. But I've a CRAZY problem with it.

On an NTFS partition (with 32Kb clusters), number of files and number of folders are correct, but SIZE OF FILES is totally wrong. In fact, the number shown is about twice the real size (real examples: 7.04 GB instead of 3.52, 7.44Gb instead of 3.23 Gb...). But on a FAT32 partition, it is the same thing .... Each time the size of files is X 2, compared of real size (My docs: 37.37 Gb shown instead of 18.6.)

Where is the problem ? Thanks for all......

Best regards from France.....
