A simple script to render your twitter feed to the desktop.

- Uses the Twitter API to download your feed as XML
- Uses XSL to transform the XML to text

Extract both scripts in the zip to the Samurize scripts directory.
Create a new meter and select Active Script.
Set "twitter.vbs" as the source.
Set GetInfo as the function to call.
Provide your Twitter user name and password and you are good to go.

Extremely simple script that simply returns version number of current Samurize release.

Something little I made up a while ago when I was testing PageScraper and its possibilities to fetch different things. Haven't used PageScraper that much earlier so though now is the time to go deep into it and see for what it is capable for and gotta say now, I just love that plugin.

So this upload doesn't contain anything special, quite simple PageScraper config which scrapes last post info from the forums as they appear in the site too, see the screenshot. Though to upload this if someone finds it useful.

grabs info from your personal user page to be entered as simple values into your samurize config.

Very simple to use, just dump it in your scripts folder, load up your samurize config and plug in your email address.

Also provided is my user_info.sah file if you would like to help my WU effort.

Mot du Jour v1.2(UPDATED)

A quick plugin I threw together in Delphi to download the 'mot du jour' from the French learning website http://french.about.com. Every weekday a new intermediate-advanced French word is introduced along with english translation and examples of its usage. This plugin will allow you to this data to your Samurize config. I mainly threw it together for myself, but hopefully others will find it useful.

Please note: Those who have downloaded any previous versions of this plugin should upgrade as changes to the layout of the website this plugin uses mean that older versions will no longer work effectively.

It's been a while since I wrote it but I think that as well as installing ActivePerl you will have to install the Date::Simple perl module. Use the Perl Package Manager in ActivePerl's Start Menu folder to install any modules you are missing.

Once you've added the script as a meter you need to add your calendars to the parameter list. For each calendar there are two parameters: the first is a name for the calendar (e.g. Personal, Work, Holidays, etc.), and the second is the http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/.../basic url from the calendar's settings. Just leave any parameters that you don't want to use blank.

You will also want to set the Tab Size in the Display settings to something large. I use 110

Remove "reverse" near the end of the script if you want it sorted the other way.
