Uses qstat (http://www.qstat.org) to query multiple game servers. It gives details such as the server name, IP, map, number of players and total number of players.

The script can query any server that qstat can - either out-of-the-box or by using custom config files that add additional games. This means the script works with many popular older games (HL, CS, Quake3, UT...) and newer ones (VietCong, BF1942...)

Read the qstatreadme.txt file for usage instructions!! A sample config file is included with the script.

Last version had 3058 downloads.

With the release of Samurize 1.25 here's the first simple image fetcher. No plugins, no image converters, just plain and simple VBS. What's it do? It grabs the daily Garfield cartoon, and displays it on your desktop. That's it? That's it!

VBScripter: But FileSystemObject cannot write binary files.

uziq gave me the inspiration for this plugin with his astro stargazer plugin thingy.

This one downloads different garfield comics, either randomly (spanning 25 years!), or simply gets today's comic.

Generic HTTP Scanner (v1.3)

Used to collect information from any web page

This is a customized version of the Internet Script template create by NeM used to download information from HTTP pages. The original code can be found on the samurize forums. I never could never get the original code to return the right results that I required it was always missing something. Plus I got annoyed at having to create a new script for every page I wished to scan so I modified the code to allow the information I required to be retrieved and also to work entirely through parameters that can be set using the samurize editor.

Gmail Account Checker

Checks a Gmail account and displays unread messages.
Only a username and password needed to check - nothing else!

Description:
A simple script to render your unread GMail inbox items to the desktop.

- Uses the GMail Atom to download your unread items as XML
- Uses XSL to transform the XML to text

Extract both scripts in the zip to the Samurize scripts directory.
Create a new meter and select Active Script.
Set "gmail.vbs" as the source.
Set GetInfo as the function to call.
Provide your gmail user name and password and you are good to go.
