This plugin will get lots of weather, for anywhere in the world - courtesy of weather.com's xml data feed.

It has lots of features that have taken quite a while (to say the least) to put together.

Take a look at the screenshot for a glimpse of what can be done.

No weather icons are included with this release, click here for a comprehensive list of icon sets currently available.

I'll keep updating the plugin as issues arise and as I feel the need to add new stuff (as I have been for a while now )

These 2 scripts get the weather and wind-info from www.weeronline.nl and www.actuelewaterdata.nl resp.

You can change the language and city of the weather prediction in the script. It should be possible to use the weather info from E.G. http://www.wetteronline.de/ or http://www.weatheronline.co.uk/ as well.

The currentwind info comes from www.actuelewaterdata.nl but if somepeople want to use the windguru.cz data please tell me and maybe I can write a script for that...

I made this to help out some users with weather data. I included the latest version of Uziq's Pagescraper.dll in the .zip file. The beauty of this config is there is nothing to add, no images to download, no skins, etc. It is all self contained!

This config simply shows the current condition image for the location choosen, all the detailed info is provided in the tooltip when you mouse over the image. To change to your location, open the config in the editor and replace my location (USNC0559) with yours in the adress bar.

This is the Icon set i Used in retired Conf. I am making this available to download, after couple demands.

and for everyone who likes it.

A simple, informative config which locates in the lower right corner of a single monitor configuration. Allows two zip code locations to be displayed side-by-side and includes a multitude of weather information including a three-day forecast, detailed current conditions, daily high, and current temp. One of the zips can show active radar on the lower screen. Helpful for watching weather at a summer home or spring break location.

This post includes the Weather.2004.dll plugin.

This is my first post. Let me know if it works for you. Should be able to extract the zip file into corresponding folders and select the DualWeather.ini config.

this is a nice graphical compass config that uses torsius' excelent weather.2004 pugin for wind direction. I made it b/c i thought that a plain circle was, well, a little boring.

Looks fairly decent a higher resolutions (ie 1280x1024), much lower res & it's a little big.. but it can scale down some.

use if u like. just copy-n-paste into your config.


* Update * thanks to KMDonlon's sugestion, I've updated this to use ImageAnalog.DLL . Looks Muuuuch nicer! Anyhoo, here is the updated version.

* Update2 * I just noticed that I set the start angle WRONG in the ImageAnalog.DLL configuration. It shouldbe set to 90. this should make the needle point in the correct direction.

I'm sorry to have to inform you that this script is no longer functioning as intended. SMHI changed their system a while ago and I do not have the time needed to re-do all the work I initially put into this. There might be an update some time, but I can't promise anything as I'm no longer running Samurize on my own machine. (It doesn't run well on Linux hehe.)

I'd like to thank everyone who has shown interest in this project over the years! I never thought so many would download it.



Finally, a weather script with detailed info about Swedish locations!

The "feed" from SMHI also contains data about some foreign locations, nice to have if you go on vacation etc.

This script is no longer in beta-stage and should be stable by now!
An example config is included (the one shown in the screenshot). It's based on the Glass theme to keep it simple but functional. The example config is briefly explained in the readme files.

Required: (Only if you wish to use weather icons.)
Images to use as forecast symbols (check out the weather icons thread for great collections).

You need to manually set the placeId of your location. The variable to set is located at the top (PlaceId) and the long list of location ids is at the bottom (nodeArray).

I have tried to contact a person on www.smhi.se to ask for official permission to use their data, but so far there's been no reply. Unless I get a negative reply, I'll assume they don't care that much.
